Chelsea will try and bank on Caicedo and his agents next week before deciding to send in their last and final bid for the Ecuadorian.
Chelsea who have seen Brighton reject four of their different bids for the player are now waiting to see what Caicedo and his agents will do before taking final step,the player and his new agents “ROOF” are set to schedule a meeting over the weekend to try and convince Brighton to accept Chelsea latest bid or they will force a move.
Chelsea are looking for alternatives Incase they don’t get the 21-year old,they have lined up options in Romeo Lavia who they are also well informed about his situation through one of their directors Joe shields who scouted him at Southampton before leaving for Chelsea,the club are willing to hijack his deal but are still focusing on Moises Caicedo’s deal.
Chelsea are also looking at Amadou onana and Franck Kessie at Barca.Chelsea are still in direct contact with Brighton through Paul Wistanley and Laurence Stewart and are hoping to reach a compromise this coming week.Pochettino already sound out he wants midfield signings triggering Chelsea fast movement in the market right now.
Chelsea already have personal terms agreed since months after meeting him and his agents in America months ago.
The deal is still in balance and negotiations are on.Chelsea won’t sign Rayan Cherki as they are pursuing other targets,they like him but Kudus and Olise are ahead of him at the moment.
